    The 2023 World Bank Spring Meeting, 107th, and The Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, Which will be held from April 9-19, 2023 at The World Bank HQ in Washington DC. During April9-19, 2023 Mr. Kittipon Apibalsri, Minister of Finance The Office of Economic and Financial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy in Washington DC. was coordinating and participating in Economic team from Thailand which lead by Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith Minister of Finance, as Thailand’s governor in 107th Development committee, 2023 Spring Meeting World Bank Group and The International Monetary Fund. There are some of the crucial topics for this meeting for instance: -The Financing for Water Action in a Changing Climate Conference to discuss expanding financial investments to ensure water security amid global climate change. -The issue of economic and financial situations and the implementation of cooperation projects between the World Bank and Thailand. The bilateral discussion with Ms. Manuela V. Ferro, World Bank Vice President for East Asia and the Pacific. -The issue of the economic situation of the two countries and the push for bilateral Economic and Financial Cooperation between Thailand and Luxembourg. The bilateral meeting with Mrs.Yuriko Backes, Minister of Finance of Luxembourg. Etc.

On April 23, 2023, Mr. Kittipong Apibalsri, Minister (Economic and Finance) Office of Economic and Financial Affairs, Washington, D.C. presided over the ceremony of "2023 Songkran Festival" at Wat Tummaprateip, Washington DC.
In this event, The purpose is to continue Thai traditional culture. There are various events in "2023 Thai Songkran festival" which are offering alms to monks and making merit, sprinkle water onto Buddha images, volunteer activities and Miss Songkran Parade (Called: Noppamas Parade) etc.
